RYA Courses

Downwind Sailing is a fully-accredited RYA Training Centre. We offer the best sail training money can buy. This includes a wide range of courses from those taking their first steps in boating to the professional seafarer. Whether you just fancy an introduction to see if you want to start sailing, already have your own boat and want to learn how to sail it better and therefore have more fun, or want to really challenge yourself and greatly increase you level of skill and enjoyment by becoming a commercially endorsed coastal skipper, yachtmaster offshore or even ocean, Downwind Sailing is the School for you. All of our Instructors are either current or ex examiners, RYA accreditation inspectors or Instructors with a deep experience of sailing and the sea. All share the common desire to pass on their knowledge and experience to others. All go to sea because they love it and want others to love it as well.
